First Sunlight of the Day,
I wake and my mind drifts.
The light slips through the
curtain crack.
My mind wanders
to you. It only has one track.

I am along watching the light,
my thoughts racing,
I know how much you care for me,
You know my heart is in despair.

My feelings pull me toward wanting you,
I wish you could see, but you leave me be.

Please, Please come to me, sit and talk awhile,
hold my hand, stay, and relax for days with me.
For I shall miss you when you are gone,
but even though you do not know, you hold my heart,
forevermore.
