Estuary

Photo by JD Doyle on Unsplash

one body of water,
divided by swells of land,
dark waters rising, only to
fall down once more on dry land.

ebb & flow

surging currents, once again
evacuating, back out to sea,
then receding, divulging
living creatures, for all to see.

ebb & flow

water ripples in again from the sea,
the estuaries encompassing,
all the naked eye cannot see.
