Charleston is one of my favorite places. I was taking my daughter on tours of college and we left Georgia for a few days and did a little sightseeing. This was the view from our hotel. Not bad and she loved the pool. Breakfast was included and we went down and found her favorite store she was amazed at this store being two stories.
Journeys with my children are some of the fondest memories I have. I took my son to his favorite convention, hiked with my kids, and traveled to NJ to see the family with the kids in tow. Life goes by in a blur and with the passing of my mother, I realize that more and more. I have lost so many loved ones this year and I do my best to be in the moment and to be there for my loved ones. To sit and just talk to my adult children and listen to them talk about their lives.
Life is short you all, grab the happiness where you can, don't talk about doing, go out and do. I promised myself, when Mom died, that I would not let so much time go by. I waited five years between visits and that is to long, so this year I am flying or drying up and the hubs is going with me. He has never been that far north.
So this is just a little reminder that our time is limited, achieve what you want, travel where you want to, and love those loved ones with hugs and kisses. Life is short, make the most out of it, now!
